What We Believe

We invite you to carefully consider the following thoughts from God's Word.

We all are sinners and separated from God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Sin separates us from God. Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of mans' sinful disobedience to God's command, fellowship with God was broken. The first man, Adam, passed on this sin to all of us. This sin results in our separation from God. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us"(Romans 5:8) and "Jesus said unto him, I am the way the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

We must by faith repent our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9) and "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his Name." (John 1:12)

Personal Response: Receiving Jesus Christ involves turning to God from your sin (repentance) and trusting Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins. You can receive Christ right now. God knows and sees the attitude of your heart and wants to hear you call out to Him in prayer.

Suggested Prayer: "Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save me. I receive You now as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.".
